Teaching

School for Scientific Thought (SST)

Science and Engineering courses, designed and taught by graduate students actively engaged in cutting-edge research, for motivated high school students on Saturdays in Fall and Winter Quarters.

Insights on Science and Technology for Society (INSCITES)

Fellowships support multi-disciplinary teams of graduate student scholars to develop and teach a novel undergraduate course that focuses on the intersection of science, technology and society.

Let's Explore Applied Physical Science (LEAPS)

NSF grant provides full fellowships for UCSB Graduate students to collaborate with Grade 8 Physical Science teachers to bring new science curriculum and mentorship to local classrooms.

Summer Institute in Mathematics and Science (SIMS)
