MELLEN Bridgman Furnace

Description

A vertical Bridgman furnace with two independently controlled heating zones, each capable of reaching 1250 C. Each zone has an 8’’ heated length. Furnace translation can be driven across a range of 18’’ at a rate varying between 100mm/hr to 1mm/day. Additionally, rotation along the growth axis at speeds of up to 100 rpm is possible. Growth atmosphere can be controlled and gas flow rates can be controlled via MFCs.
