MELLEN SC12.5R Three Zone Tube Furnaces (2)

Description

The MELLEN SC12.5R three zone tube furnaces are 24” long, broken up into 3-8” long heating zones, each capable of independent operation. All three zones are equipped with a thermocouple wired to the MELLEN ADAPT control system that enables real-time feedback and temperature control. Complex and multiday temperature treatments can easily be programmed through this central computer system. Each zone is capable of reaching a maximum temperature of 1200°C. Sintered alumina plugs and fiberglass wool are available to limit heat leakage from the tube ends. Additionally, stainless steel flanges with o-ring seals are available to allow the flow of different inert or reducing gases (e.g. argon, nitrogen, oxygen, dilute hydrogen) through the tube during heat treatment.
