Description

Autoclaves are dangerous equipment, Please exercise extreme care when using them!

• 690 L Steam Sterilizer.
• Decontamination of biohazard waste (BSL 1 and 2) and prions
• 4 standard biohazard bags can be loaded per run

Users Can Use the Autoclave Two Ways

1. Drop off biohazard bags in the provided plastic biohazardous waste bins. Be sure to tightly tie the bag and fill out a drop off slip with your name and lab.
2. Fill out a waste pick up request and have the BNL staff pick up and autoclave your biohazardous waste for you.

BNL staff will remove and dispose the bags from the autoclave after the run is completed.
